Closing Checklist for Real Estate Agents:

Prior to Closing, we will need from you:

  • A Copy of a signed contract, including any and all addendums.
  • Contact information for the Buyers and Sellers.
  • Name and contact information for the Mortgage Lender or Mortgage Broker.
  • Homeowners Association contact information, including contact name, address and telephone number.
  • A Copy of the Termite Letter.  Please let us know if we need to collect for either the termite letter or for treatment.
  • All payoff information for the Seller, including contact information for each loan, account numbers and Social Security numbers for all parties on the loan.
  • Whether a survey will be required or not.
  • Any Home Warranty Information, if applicable.
  • Copies of any relevant Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney or Corporate Documents related to the parties.
  • If you are aware of a source of funds from your buyer that is NOT a cashier’s check at closing, please let us know prior to closing.
  • Information for funds being held in escrow at closing, if applicable.
  • If your broker authorizes direct payment at closing, please fax the authorization to Donaghue & Chandler LLC prior to closing.

Please bring the following to the Closing:

  • An original signed contract including any and all addendum's.
  • Any Home Warranty information, if applicable.
  • Copies of any invoices for any repairs, if applicable.
  • The Original Termite Letter.
  • If earnest money exceeds commission, please bring to closing.
